By the way, Sander Pieterse is the administrator for xeno-canto website specialized in Bird Songs throughout Asia and South America. Their website is a good reference for birders searching for specific bird songs for research purpose ec

Check the website at www.xeno-canto.org

They are currently at Tambunan Rafflesia Centre searching for montane species and if time permitted, I will be joining them on the 24th at Poring Hot Spring for the Hose's Broadbill.

Good birding !

Hi Jason!
Fun entry, heheh. We had a good day birding with you. We're at Mount Kinabalu now and have seen Everett's Thrush (watched foraging for 25 minutes!) and Whitehead's Trogon. No luck with the Broadbill or Fruithunter yet, but will try again tomorrow, after we give Friendy Bush Warbler a shot first. :)
If you find some time to join us in search for Hose's Broadbill, let us know.

Cheers from MK headquarters,
Sander
