drove up to kinabalu national park this morning for the whitehead's trogon, hoping to get record shot of this elusive bird. after walking for few hours, called it a day but managed to get few pics of different species that resides at mt. kinabalu especially the giant squirrel !

I thought as a tourist guide you would not have the time to take these wonderful birds and animals photos! Instead you go to find these creatures when you are NOT leading the tourists!

BTW I just learned the Kadazan word for dragonfly today - TOMPOKIZU! In Tenghilan the Dusun word is KUYUKUYU. Do you know what it's called in other dialects?
Those Flycatchers are so beautiful!
Nice squirrel........looks a bit meaner than the ones in English gardens......
