Birding with Dr. Oscar

Few days birding in Sabah after his conference in Sarawak, we did the usual hotspots for birds found in Sabah such as Mt. Trusmadi, Mt. Kinabalu and Kinabatangan River. We missed the Whitehead's Broadbill and Trogon but did well with the Bornean Peacock-Pheasant

 15-18th September 2025

His first visit to Sabah as part of his family holidays with relatives from KL. We spent the four days at Mt. Trusmadi, Mt. Alab and Mt. Kinabalu including stops at Tempasuk Plain, Penampang rice field and Tg. Aru Beach. He got his 5 Whitehead's and Dusky Munia were Terry's bird number 2000!
